Melissa R. Buttles, PA-C
Melissa R. Buttles, PA-C received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina where she graduated cum laude. While attending the University of South Carolina, Melissa was listed on the Dean's List as well as the President's List. Melissa also received a Palmetto Fellows Scholarship and the University of South Carolina Valedictorian Scholarship. After completing her degree at the University of South Carolina, she then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assisting from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she was also listed on the Dean's List.
Melissa is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American College of Cardiology. She is also certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Melissa resides in Florence and is an active member of Willow Creek Baptist Church, where she teaches Sunday School.
