Fred M. Krainin, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Krainin, a native of New York, graduated cum laude and received his B.A. from Boston University. He attended Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham, Massachusetts where he completed an internship in Internal Medicine. From there he continued at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass., completing a residency in Internal Medicine. He then spent two years completing a fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore and one year as an Angioplasty Fellow at the Cardiology Center in Marrero, Louisiana. Dr. Krainin is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the Council on Clinical Cardiology of the American Heart Association, and a member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Krainin resides in Florence with his wife, Mary. He has three children, Jared, Alyssa, and Alex and enjoys running and music. Dr. Krainin has completed several marathons, including the recent 2007 New York Marathon.
