George Petropoulos, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Petropoulos, a native of Alberta, Canada, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada, where he received his Bachelor of Sciences in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology with Honors Biochemistry. He received his medical degree from the University of Alberta, in Alberta, Canada. Dr. Petropoulos completed a residency in Internal Medicine through SUMMA Health System in Akron, Ohio. He went on to complete a three year Cardiology Fellowship with Maine Medical Center. Dr. Petropoulos is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Petropoulos practices primarily out of the Loris and Little River Offices.
Dr. Petropoulos resides in Longs and enjoys photography and running.
