Thomas L. Stoughton, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.P.
Dr. Thomas Stoughton completed his undergraduate education at Thiel College in Greenville, Penn., graduating summa cum laude with a BA in Chemistry. He then received his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed an internship in Categorical Medicine and a residency in Internal Medicine at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia. At Brook Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, he completed a fellowship in Cardiology. Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, Dr. Stoughton has been awarded a fellowship in the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and the South Carolina Medical Association.
Dr. Stoughton resides in Florence with his wife, Sue. He has five daughters: Allison, Kathleen, Laura, Susannah, and Mary. Dr. Stoughton is an avid hunter and enjoys the outdoors.
